When I posted this remastered video starring Doug and Aaron this week I remembered that it was the first “street” video in the city that I’d ever shot. I really like shooting a little street scene before we get into the action. I see it used a lot by the professional studios in their long videos. You see the characters walking along city streets for a bit before they go inside and get into the sex. So you get to see a bit of the guys with their clothes on before they get naked. It’s almost like a little bit of teasing. I recently saw some elaborate “walk up” scenes on Eric Videos which has inspired me to do more. Melbourne is the most liberal and accepting city in Australia for artists. There are always people filming around in the streets, so usually no one minds us filming opening scenes for our dirty movies.
