It’s nice to catch up with my mates here in Melbourne again. One of the best porn stars to come out of Australia has to be my mate Marco. Marco loves to fuck hot guys. He’s been in a tonne of videos already on BR. I’m looking forward to teaming him up with some of our new mates during this summer. Recently he had this solo shoot with Zac up on my roof. What do I like most about summer? Getting to get naked and dirty outdoors. That’s why I’m so excited about the start of summer coming in Australia. We are going to shoot as much as possible outside. I just posted the behind the scenes video of my shoot with Scott Campbell. I forgot what happened that day we drove the car out to the desert to get some shots of my American mate getting naked on that mountain. I couldn’t keep my hands off him as he posed naked in front of me. I’m normally a lot more controlled. No I’m not.
Now that the jet lag has passed and I’ve unpacked all the bags it’s time to get back to work. The first day back at my day job was pretty tough. But to get over the post-vacation blues I’m already planning all the shooting we are going to do here in Melbourne over the coming weeks. The weather has improved, it’s warming up and the days are longer. A perfect time to start shooting again!
I always knew it was going to be a long trip home from New York when I booked it. I calculated that it would take around 24 hours to fly home. But the trip started fairly badly. There was something wrong with the old Qantas 747 at JFK so we sat on the plane for 4 hours while they tried to fix it. Oddly the pilot never actually said it was fixed. So all up 5 hours was added to the trip, making it a 29 hour trip home. JFK-LAX-SYD-MEL
It must be terrible when things like this go wrong for an airline in a foreign country. But making people wait 4 hours on a plane that is about to make a trip over 20 hours long is pretty terrible. After all that waiting I was hoping we could be let out at New York or LA to get a night’s sleep before continuing on. Waiting at LAX for a re-fuel for another 2 hours at 3am was not fun at all.
Okay, that’s my only gripe about the trip. I like the friendly and generous service that Qantas gives. They actually gave us 2 bottles of champagne and pyjamas on the way over to the US. And we were flying in economy! They are still a step above many of the other airlines in my books. So I’m back at home and suffering from jet lag. So I’m using this waking hours to get caught up on some new updates on the site. It’s nice to be home!
I think we got very lucky with this amazing large hotel room in Manhattan. The light is perfect for filming in. Both Zac and I have been very busy this past week meeting new guys as well as some of our old mates here in NY. It’s been a very busy week getting some filming done as well as running around the city with our mates. Today is the second last day in the city so the time is tight now to get everything I wanted done finished. I can’t wait to show you some of the guys we’ve met.
I’m starting to get a fear of heights. I’ve realised this after checking in to this Manhattan skyscraper hotel. The shoots have gotten underway here in New York. The first day was a bit disappointing with guys cancelling, but things are picking up now and we have a very busy schedule until we leave next week. We are seeing some of our old mates as well as meeting some new ones. I love getting out and seeing New York but I also don’t want to waste any time not shooting. So it’s going to be a busy few days.
Since landing in Chicago last week we’ve been having a great time walking all over the city. The weekend was pretty busy with an air show going for a couple of days. And the weather has been spectacular! I’m not so pale anymore after trying out the speed boats on Lake Michigan. We’ve had a couple of days off from shooting so there’s been plenty of time to get out and about. We checked out N.Halsted Street on Saturday night, Navy Pier and I guess all of the typical tourist hot spots. Shooting has been going very well too. All the guys in Chicago are so fit! There’s definitely no shortage of muscle in this city. We’ll have another day of shooting before we make the trip across to New York.

I really like shooting with guys who are already fuck buddies or partners before the scene. It takes away any shoot nerves and politeness. It’s always a little strange when I bring 2 guys together and tell them to start kissing while I snap away. So when Ethan and Jason got together for this scene it was one of the easiest and hottest scenes to shoot. A perfect way to spend our last day in San Francisco. I’m hoping to catch up with Ethan again when we get to New York next week.

So we finally arrived in Chicago late last night. I’m horribly jet lagged after the 28 hour trip from Melbourne. We had a 8 hour layover in LA, so we jumped in a taxi and headed for Venice Beach and Santa Monica for the day. I gotta say how great the service was on the Qantas flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles. We had one of the cutest guys looking after us on the flight. We even had bottles of champagne given to us as we left the plane! I thought those things were for people flying up the front end of the plane. So it was very nice to be spoilt. I slept for about 7 hours before the brekky trolley came around and we landed in LA.
We were lucky enough to get in to the lounge at LAX so we could shower and chill out for a little while. I really love the board walk down at Venice Beach. And Muscle Beach…. HELLO! Our pale winter faces looked so out of place on the beach. So we headed over to the Santa Monica pier for lunch and then headed back to the airport. The flight to Chicago was fairly uneventful. The city is a little quieter then I thought it would be. No I just need to get past the jet lag so I can start having some fun.

I’ve just posted this video I made of Jay Taylor in my hotel room in San Francisco. And I completely forgot how much fun we had when the camera started rolling. I just got an email from Jay asking when are we going to do it again. I’m starting to wish that SFO was on the travel itinerary for this month. The next US trip begins tomorrow. Zac and I will be visiting Chicago and New York. I can’t wait to check out the guys over there.
