As you can tell from some of the Behind the Scenes videos that I love using the fish eye lens on the Sony Nex7 camera. Best thing I ever bought. It’s a bit of a toy actually. I love pulling it out to wow my mates. But it really does help a lot when I’m shooting in small spaces. The bathroom above is actually very very tiny. But the fish eye lens (sitting just over my shoulder) manages to capture everything. I’ll post some photos taken with it soon too.

When we got back to Melbourne with a mountain of luggage and a tonne of photos and videos I realised that I had a problem. I had actually ran out of storage space on the computers. So I’ve been spending the past 2 days backing up files and buying larger hard drives to store all the old files plus the new stuff. Since I’m making a lot more videos now the space is being eaten up very quickly. Soon I’ll have a mini server up and running to keep everything on. Long gone are the days of having everything on one computer.

Did you think I was just lying by the pool every day in Palm Springs? Well I did some of that too. But one of the best days of the vacation was getting to meet and hang out with the beautiful Mexican porn star Jordano Santoro. I had to pinch myself when I found myself late at night out at a grocery store shopping with Jordano for dinner. This muscle stud had come out from LA to visit us and stayed overnight so we could shoot early the next day. Jordano is an ultra-nice guy. I wish we could convince him to come down to Australia. But shot a bloody lot of stuff in the short time we had with our new mate. I’m sure it won’t be the last time I ask him to get in front of the camera. The hotel guys were so nice for letting us shoot around the hotel’s gardens. The other guests didn’t mind either.

Yesterday we made the very long trip home from San Francisco (via LA) to Melbourne. The trip took about 20 hours. This was perhaps one of the most fun trips I’ve had so far in America. It was a very busy time with friends joining us along the way, meeting guys to jump on camera with us, and seeing loads of new things. My favourite day away had to be the road trip from Palm Springs to Vegas (pic above). We rented a big SUV and headed directly north through the Mojave desert. This is one place I would love to live near. The spectacular countryside would be amazing to shoot in. I’m sure it’s already been done, but I would love to take some guys out there the next time I’m staying over there. We managed to find guys in Palm Springs, Las Vegas and San Francisco for shoots. I wish we could have stayed in SFO longer. I met some guys there they I would love to have shot with again. Now I can start thinking about where the next trip will be.

Since we have reduced the number of days in San Francisco I’ve had to get busy very quickly and start shooting right away. I’m still looking for guys to shoot each day that we are here. There are so many sexy men in this city. I wish I could get to them all. We also have a “first timer” in our group so we will be doing a little touring around the city as well. I wish I had more time here now to get more done. Maybe I will come back again later in the year.

We’ve all had a fun time here in Las Vegas. We didn’t end up getting as many guys for shoots as I had hoped. Guys not turning up for shoots was pretty disappointing. But I am looking forward to getting up to San Francisco today and meeting some new guys there. We have a fairly quick stay there this time, but I’m sure we will fit quite a lot in. In the meantime it’s time to begin the big task of packing all those cases again.

We’ve been having a lot of fun here in Las Vegas. Doing loads of walking up and down the strip. The place is much bigger than I had expected it to be. It’s funny how you have to walk through a casino every time you go to a hotel. I can’t even imagine how much money people must lose here. There are some pretty spectacular sites too. We are staying in one of the cheaper hotels in the middle of the strip with big rooms and lots of light (very important). Zac has already done one shoot and I am about to do another. There are some fairly sexy men in Vegas. I like the shirtless drunk college boys stumbling up and down the strip. Now if only I can get them in for a shoot.

It’s a little bit hard to post updates while travelling and shooting. But I’m managing to squeeze everything in so far. My plan almost came undone when I lost the list of “things to post while I’m away”. But I eventually found it again when we packed our suitcases in Palm Springs. So during this past week I posted the photos and video of our big Bulgarian mate Jack Ward. Jack is most certainly a big boy in all proportions. We need big boys like Jack down in Australia. Both Jack’s photos and video are now posted.

The last day in Palm Springs was spent seeing off a friend to New York and taking dirty photos of each other back at the hotel. I recently received a big case of SpunkLube from my mate Jeff in the US. I like it so much that I brought some with me on the trip. So I thought we’d take some shots of ourselves using it during the trip. Then yesterday we swapped the hire car to a larger one to fit all the luggage and made the big road trip from Palm Springs up to Vegas. I gotta say… there are some pretty amazing places to do shoots around Amboy and through the Mojhave desert. We stopped to take some quick shots. But I’d love to go back there with some guys and shoot a lot more sometime.
So we are now in Las Vegas and looking forward to getting together with some of the local hot guys. It’s going to be a busy few days here.

The time here in Palm Springs has gone by really quickly. It was great getting some shoots in, meeting a whole load of new people, having some raunchy outdoor sex and experiencing some of the Californian culture. I can see why I keep coming back here. Oh… and the men are pretty hot too. So it’s one last day by the pool, taking a few cheeky photos for Twitter and then we head off to Vegas tomorrow.
